Tactical Carbine Training

Great projection of power, but a complex weapon to apply from battle zero to shooting position. Learn from pros that can not just do it, but can break it down into easily grasped fundamentals. Fundamentals that if mastered and maintained, can save your life.

Tactical Pistol Training

This is the weapon you will most likely have handy when it is time to save your life because trouble comes to call. Shooting just isn′t enough. That you qualify well on the range does impress the bad guy. You need to know how to use the pistol in a fight. Huge difference.

Training - Gear: Tips and Articles

Single vs. Two Point Sling

We are often asked, which sling is the better choice. Both of these slings will perform if used in the proper manner, and should be included in your gear bag.

But, as with any setup, you should commit to finding the gear that best fits the mission, instead of fitting the gear you have.

Tactical Training - Beaufort SC

Single Point Sling

- provides maximum range of motion
- easy to get out of, particularly with a QD buckle
- doesn't interfere as much with gear on the side of your rifle
- works great for close quarters
- easier to use for vehicle ops
- better for prone position
- easier to switch to weak hand
- poor muzzle control when hanging
- muzzle tends to hit the ground when kneeling or doing low to the ground tasks

Two Point Sling

- when the weapon is hanging, it stays in place
- allows for hands-free movement
- can be converted to a single point quickly
- best solution for heavier weapons
- better for long walks or running
- cinches tighter to the body, front or back
- better for climbing, jumping obstacles, going thru windows
- less strain to neck, weight carried by shoulders
- can be used as a shooting aid, to steady the rifle
